WoW - Art!

norcumiNo, not mine in the sense that I drew it, but mine in the sense that folks did it of my stuff. I've finally enough accumulated that I feel justified in squealing delightedly about it. ;)

amarafox. I seem to have started a tend for myself that when I hit 80 (well... level cap at the time and the level I still think of as relevant) I celebrate by getting art of said character - and Mel is always up to no good.
Kharisa was actually the first I got art for, but since I had to dig up the URL she's second ;). Bylunajile. This was Tier.... um... maybe not tier? Well, I spent a lot of frosties on that gear, and I'm still damn proud of the acquisition and how it looked too.
Thencircuscookies did a lovely take on Krael and Eshun - I think early on in their *cough* relationship where Eshun is still scruffy and getting over the whole "But I'm a paladin, and my people enslaved a NARUU *aaaaaangst*" and Krael is... being Krael. Thus the poor pretty belfy boy does not know what the heck to do when being glomped by an eternally flirty orc rogue. Neither of them has, or is likely to, hit 80, but I liked the idea of those two in this style. ::grins sheepishly:: I was also hoping it would inspire me to write more of those two, but obviously that hadn't worked out too well.
Hepzibet hit 80 (and then 85) and then heard that archaeology can earn one a riding bug, and has since then been grinding (and grinding and grinding and it's reached the point where ohmygawd the farming is finally killing me and I pride myself on my farming skillz arg!) for it.vauvakolibri then posted a free arting session - post a character and references, and she might draw it, and I won this by virtue of amusing the artist. I think it speaks for itself, and I love it to bits. This is.... just so Hep. She loves her bugs.
Finally, shortly after thatvauvakolibri offered commissions, and since Pru was at the time near 80 (and hit it yesterday! Whee!), I figured why not? This did indeed inspire writing (ah, here's a good place for me to link it for my own uses: writing), and I got the icon today! I asked for skeptical Pru, but I do truly love the fact that it looks like tired Pru as well, since that's an icon I can use far more often. :-/
