Mixed feelings
Aug. 21st, 2009 05:26 pm79 - ding!
Cold weather flying - accomplished, though ye gods my pocketbook!
(wait, or is it "still 14 bucks a month, ye gods my pocketbook!"?)
And the expansion has dropped, and looks like it might be just as crazed as I've been hearing. Meh?
Revamping the whole damn old world? The hell? Not sure this is a game I want to play.... need to think on this one....
edit: godsDAMMIT, undead should not, and never EVER EVER should be allowed to be hunters!!!!!! ::flail:: What the HELLS, blizzard? Seriously, that thar be dumb crack!
::goes off to sulk::

Date: 2009-08-22 04:55 am (UTC)There is precedent in lore for both humans and undead to be hunters.
Myself, tauren pallies might be enough to get me to play Horde.

Date: 2009-08-22 06:55 pm (UTC)Tauran pallies genuinely sound intimidating. Bubble, war stomp, and holy smiting - yikes.

Date: 2009-08-22 09:45 am (UTC)Besides, Hunters with perception > hunters with WotF ;p
I was probably going to re-up anyway, because I'm just a sad sad fucking addict, but I'm kinda digging this whole "going back to Azeroth, where the game was good and the ally and the Horde fucking hated each other and didn't have to share laggy neutral cities" vibe...

Date: 2009-08-22 07:01 pm (UTC)re-upping - ::pats:: I agree with the whole "roots" thing, though while I don't miss the days of LagForge (yes, I know, ebil alliance freak that I tend to play), Dalaran and Shat before it are just... beyond frustrating.

Date: 2009-08-22 03:23 pm (UTC)*If* they do it right. I think Thou Needles might be pretty spiffy completed flooded. It'll be like Venice...only without the architecture or the art. Or the smell of dead fish.
I could have done without the class revamping, though. But it doesn't bother me all that much.

(also I love you so much for the comments and I ~shall~ reply to them *g* )
Also, have you seen District 9 yet? *curious*

Hee, and welcome on the comments! I enjoyed it - was fun goin' back through things and taking the time to look at them closely, and you do some really lovely things. And, well, all that awesome work (hard work?) deserves some commentary, even if it is sometimes on crack. Don't have to reply unless you want to. :)
District 9 - nope. See, the last movie I went to was Charlie Wilson's War ('cause ANYTHING by/with Aaron Sorkin, and I am ALL over that, speaking of additions ;) ), and then before that was Rent, and lord only knows before that. I don't watch movies, really. Hells, we don't even get cable. So... given the way you're recommending it, soon as it pops up on netflix or whatall, I promise I will add it into the menu, but the chances of seeing it any time soon are pretty damn slim. Mind, given what you've said, and the plot synopsis I read, I am interested, it's just that a movie is one hell of a time commitment I'm not likely to be able to get to.
kinda want to, though - it sounds NEAT
So feel free to rant at me all you'd like about it! :-D
