79 - ding!

Cold weather flying - accomplished, though ye gods my pocketbook!
(wait, or is it "still 14 bucks a month, ye gods my pocketbook!"?)

And the expansion has dropped, and looks like it might be just as crazed as I've been hearing. Meh?

Revamping the whole damn old world? The hell? Not sure this is a game I want to play.... need to think on this one....

edit: godsDAMMIT, undead should not, and never EVER EVER should be allowed to be hunters!!!!!! ::flail:: What the HELLS, blizzard? Seriously, that thar be dumb crack!

::goes off to sulk::

All I can say is "Blightcaller".

There is precedent in lore for both humans and undead to be hunters.

Myself, tauren pallies might be enough to get me to play Horde.

See, this is something I can get my head around. Thank you. Lore makes it (kinda) make sense, and that was what as missing. WowWiki helped expand on this.

Tauran pallies genuinely sound intimidating. Bubble, war stomp, and holy smiting - yikes.

But what I want to know is, will your pet get all EPL plague-ified when you tame it?

Besides, Hunters with perception > hunters with WotF ;p

I was probably going to re-up anyway, because I'm just a sad sad fucking addict, but I'm kinda digging this whole "going back to Azeroth, where the game was good and the ally and the Horde fucking hated each other and didn't have to share laggy neutral cities" vibe...

Hee. It'd be nice if the hunter could choose that when they tame the pet (undead skin, or normal skin?)

re-upping - ::pats:: I agree with the whole "roots" thing, though while I don't miss the days of LagForge (yes, I know, ebil alliance freak that I tend to play), Dalaran and Shat before it are just... beyond frustrating.

I think if they do it right, it could be awesome. Bring the game back into the original lands, and actually shake things up. Evolve the world and the game play instead of making something new to leap to; 1-60 lands are no longer going to be something you have to blow through "just to get to the good content."

*If* they do it right. I think Thou Needles might be pretty spiffy completed flooded. It'll be like Venice...only without the architecture or the art. Or the smell of dead fish.

I could have done without the class revamping, though. But it doesn't bother me all that much.

You never thought Thousand Needles smelled like dead fish? You mean all this time it's just been me?

You never thought Thousand Needles smelled like dead fish? You mean all this time it's just been me? <_< >_> I mean... um... yeah. Right. Architecture and art and fish. Lacking those! ;) I'm coming round to agreeing with you. It's taken some thought and input from Quindar. Honestly, comparing the writing and quest lines between the really, REALLY classic low level stuff and WotLK, and - well HELLS, it's PAINFUL. Easy example: nothing gets DONE with the Defias outside of Westfall, until Theramore got revamped, and it still gets dropped like a rock after that, and if you go to South Shore area, then it's like "Syndicate? Feh - it goes from red to orange, and same old who gives a damn" - poor design. This is prolly the only way they COULD correct some of those old mistakes. ::shrugs:: But that's all dependent on them not screwing it up (too much. Let's be realistic).

XD This makes me almost - almost - regret not knowing more about WoW.

Congrats on 79! =3

(also I love you so much for the comments and I ~shall~ reply to them *g* )

Also, have you seen District 9 yet? *curious*

::grins:: If you handle addictions well, then I could toss you a trial account pass. If you'd rather not go there, I totally, TOTALLY understand. The damned thing IS built to be addictive, and I do mean that literally.

Thanks!

Hee, and welcome on the comments! I enjoyed it - was fun goin' back through things and taking the time to look at them closely, and you do some really lovely things. And, well, all that awesome work (hard work?) deserves some commentary, even if it is sometimes on crack. Don't have to reply unless you want to. :)

District 9 - nope. See, the last movie I went to was Charlie Wilson's War ('cause ANYTHING by/with Aaron Sorkin, and I am ALL over that, speaking of additions ;) ), and then before that was Rent, and lord only knows before that. I don't watch movies, really. Hells, we don't even get cable. So... given the way you're recommending it, soon as it pops up on netflix or whatall, I promise I will add it into the menu, but the chances of seeing it any time soon are pretty damn slim. Mind, given what you've said, and the plot synopsis I read, I am interested, it's just that a movie is one hell of a time commitment I'm not likely to be able to get to.

kinda want to, though - it sounds NEAT

So feel free to rant at me all you'd like about it! :-D
