Skeevy bear-tank is skeevy
Well. Well well well.
I try to limit myself to 1 dungeon a day - though at 80, if it's something short, then I might adjust. I'm also trying to level my Ysera crew, for a variety of reasons. Tayraner I'm quite proud of - my little throwaway priest is a kinda kickass healer, and she makes glyphs too! Almost 35, and thus almost able to go the next round of profession grinding.
My pally - who shall remain nameless for reasons clearer later, though if you go to the infamous thread she's listed there - started off today at 32. She's 34 now, and ye gods the universe must've been trying to say "don't run this dungeon!!!"
What the hells IS it with folks from the Duskwood realm?? I mean seriously. My shit list has a shaman at 80 from there that can't just let the tank tank (and thus made my first Pit of Sauron kinda really suck), and now the druid Darknessguy - who spent the whole damn Scarlet Monestary hitting on me while I was trying to heal!!!
I don't feel guilty at ALL about the bastard dying twice.
I even said I could type or heal, pick one, and he said he's pull less mobs. Um, no, it's not about that? Cheeze.
Also, guys? Hint here. I don't mind chatting. I don't mind telling you my name doesn't mean anything (other than possibly "sorry, busy healing the tank right now") other than being random syllables probably cribbed from the name of someone who I ran through the register once. I'll even be open about my age and location. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GODS when I tell you to back off, calling me "hun" and saying things like "you never know" is most likely going to set off my skeeve alarm rather than make me inclined to tell you what my myspace account (thank gods ACTUALLY non-existant) is or how you can see me in real life.
Also? I don't look at all like my character. Twip.
I should've told the party due to the tank's relentless hitting on me, I was leaving now, but I don't quite have the courage. Next time something like this happens, have to remember that. Or maybe a "miss-tell" to the whole damn party about healing or flirting, pick one. And if it's flirting, LEAVE.
Massive chocolates to the shrine of Sozur, who is not only an awesome tank but an actual awesome guy. And chocolates to the shrine of the recent panzer-chicken buddy who warned me he flirted as habit and was willing to back off. I'm sure there are many good quality folks who play WoW out there, but y'all do deserve some recognition.
Thank you.

I'm not sure if I feel relieved or annoyed by that...
(Maybe I'm relieved and Jar is annoyed)

Sadly enough, this isn't the first time. Mind, it's not as funny/freaky as the time the naked nelf was following me and Quindar around Teldrasil, "dancing" with my character non-stop despite whispers and tells to go. the. hell. away. Though to this day I remain amused that my character was a tailor, and right there made him some pants and opened a free trade window. Dude wouldn't take a hint.
(if Jar wants creepy guys, I'm happy to ship them to her in a small box, airholes optional... ;) )

I'd like to say "just ignore it," but since I probably would feel moved to snark at someone who was distracting me with crap like that...go with your instincts.

If it was RP gettin' it on, I could get that too. It was all about RL and myspace, and - ugh. I know how to RP my characters smacking down someone, but it's not a skill I have well employed.
Not sure about the RP thing, either. Duskwood's in the same battlegroup, so I'm inclined to think it's not, since Ysera isn't. ::shrugs:: Smackdowns are ok! :) Thanks!
