*digging through the back corner of the basement, once upon a time known as MY corner where I could store my crap and project mats (and apparently reams of paperwork I was going to shred but never did) until Real Life meant I was dealing with Issues rather than Projects*

*pass by cardboard envelope of pewter sheet with a big dopy grin*

*dig dig dig and pile up paper to shred*

*finally give up on sorting the paper, toss it all back into the box it came from, which looking at the Elect John Kerry for President propaganda near the top was what I did last move, when I just needed to transfer paperwork from one location to another*

*pass by cardboard envelope of pewter sheet with a big dopy grin*

*.... pause, backtrack, and find original cardboard envelope on the washing machine where I put it to keep it out of my way*

*collect two cardboard envelopes, both of which are heavy and addressed the same*

*open pewter envelope*

*open other envelope, which is filled with a metric boatload of copper sheet, apparently 20 gauge*

"Holy FUCK, I have copper?!"

"Holy FUCK, I have a metric TON of copper!!!"

*Tell internets since all this resorting is driving me nuts*

*go back for more!*

Copper is GLORIOUS. I adore pewter since it's a soft metal - you don't need to work as hard to cut it, and I'm the fool disdaining a router-y-thing for a good old fashioned jeweler's saw, so that's good - but I love the look of copper. So I have both! Eeeeee!!!!
