norcumiSo the browser crashed again. Not surprising, since that's my laptop's special way of saying "dude. TOO MANY TABS!!! *gasp* *wheeze*" Buuuuut this is why Session Manager is mah Friend!
Nonetheless. I shall take pity on the loyal machine, and close out a few tabs by admitting that The Project is just not gonna fly. Not right now, at least. So links for you all!
Wow Fanart had a meme running around, though I only saw one post about it. The meme is as follows:
1. Take the name of a character of yours and find out what it means. http://www.behindthename.com/
2. Go to http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/search.sets and type in the meaning of the name.
3. Draw your character in the second outfit that comes up. (If something that isn't clothes comes up, skip to the third.)
Now this made me giggle. It's amusing, and uses my favorite naming site, and... hey... Kharisa is actually based on a name I saw once.....
Yeah, you can totally see where this is going, can't you.
The result for my poor abused main was also astonishingly neat. This was my first result, and gods help me I want to do it. I can totally see her with this, AND it confirms my suspicions on what her hairstyle had been until not too long before she died (...yeah, I have strange story ideas kicking around that I really should deal with at some point). The second result was here, and amusing, and something I want to poke at, but not quite so much. And just for shits and giggles, I put most of the rest of my folks through and just picked names that seemed kiiinda right/approximate, and Mel is cautiously approving of her result. She's developing a more quirky personality and tastes since I've played her less, and that is the only excuse I can possibly fathom.
So one day. One day, when I am bored, and looking for something to do, and willing to fight off the demons of Bad Art, I'm gonna sketch these out. 'Cause. In the meantime, I can only hope some of you are amused.
