Meme time.
1) Reply to this post and I'll respond with something random about you.
2) I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3) I'll pick a flavor/color of jello to wrestle with you in.
4) I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5) I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6) I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7) I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8) If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written.
Seriously, the viral nature of memes are dangerous enough - if you want to do this, g'head, but I'm not gonna obligate anyone. :)

Date: 2005-09-23 01:30 pm (UTC)2. Moulin Rouge - This insane and wonderful mix of modern and historical, full of insane detail, dreams, creativity, color and fun and stories. I think a large part of it is that you, like the movie, combine so many things into one amazing package.
3. Why did I leave this one in...? Um... pina colada. 'Cause it sounds cool and different.
4. Your spaghetti theories fascinate me.
5. FUZZY FEET!!!! I just stopped, and could not stop staring. The detail, the unique setup, and the sheer quality meant I wasn't really looking at your face, but not in the way people probably mean that statement. ;)
6. Mongoose - the inquisitiveness and energy to keep going, looking into anything that catches your attention, pushing onwards despite anything in the way. Also totally kickass, with the ability to go from cuddly and friendly to deadly in a heartbeat.
7. Where do you see yourself, in a random number of years in the future? (Don't know is a resonable answer)

Date: 2005-09-23 01:37 pm (UTC)2. Rent. Ok, so it's a musical, but nonetheless.
3. Strawberry. Is it clear I'm pretty much picking things at random here?
4. ...um.... Your stuff truly rocks. ::nods:: I think that's sufficiently obscure.
5. I think it was a 2nd VP report... for whatever reason, what comes to mind is you sitting on a stool, giving a report. You seemed random, but cool.
6. Kitty - somewhere between kitten and full adult.
7. Why knitting?

Date: 2005-09-23 01:47 pm (UTC)1. I actually read Wintersmith Dreams waaaaaay back when it was about... no more than 3 issues long, and it totally confused me. Why? 'Cause I think it was my first exposure to fanfic, and I hadn't grasped the concept yet. So, you got me started in the fanfic realm.
2. It's My Life, by Bon Jovi. ::smiles and glomps::
3. Er.... peach?
Hey, I can ask you! WHY is this question in here???? :)
4. Pink... and fuzzy?! Oh my.
5. I think it was walking past the Wintersmith Dreams dealer table, seeing this bunch of intimidating people (please note that any strangers were intimidating at that point), and seeing half familer art and stories, and wanting rather desperately to go up and chat with you. You seemed friendly enough with everyone else, so I finally did - and you were one of the nicest people at the con.
6. Took me awhile to figure this one. A puma... or a panther... or a catamount... or a mountain lion - same cat, but countless different names. One of the large cats, misunderstood by the older rancher generation, but apparently able to be somewhat domesticated. Endangered, and not to be riled, but still graceful and beautiful.
7. Will you tell me your thoughts on Deus Ex? Pleeeeeeeease?!?!? Not that I'm an addict, or anything..... ();-)

Date: 2005-09-23 01:55 pm (UTC)2. Not Your Average Girl- or maybe it's called Video, I'm not sure - by India Arie.
3. Er, grape?
4. One of these days, I'll do something with that bit of Hudson and the recliner. ::blinks innocently::
5. I... think it was MC asking me to proof your fic? Maybe it was AIM first? Wow, I'm blanking. -_-;; sorry.
6. ::hides under her desk:: pleasedon'tyellayme. A llama. Quirky, independent, able to stand on your own but kind to those around you, unless pushed - then those idiots best be watching out. And fuzzy, with attitude. I'm not sure why the fuzzy, but that's what comes to mind.
7. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

Date: 2005-09-23 02:01 pm (UTC)1. I like the sound/tones of your voice.
2. Wow. Given the amount of music you listen to... For some reason I want to go with Evita, though Crimson Tide is a close second. For reasons I absolutely cannot figure, The Rock is next in line.
3. Banana. With chunks of banana in it.
4. Fishie!!!
5. ::grins:: The 2002 con - the family had been driving around in circles for, oh, over an hour? before finding the hotel, and when coming into the parking lot, I see a U-Haul with garg people and some hot guy I don't know helping unload. And I think to myself, "wow, wouldn't it be funny if that's Quindar? Nah, that's silly. That doesn't happen in real life."
6. Sorry, but the cockatiel IS the first thing to come to mind. After that, it's a tie between a cat, and a falcon.
7. ....er.... hmm. This meme seems to be broken. Well, what question would you ask me? Or make up an answer. ;)

Date: 2005-09-23 02:09 pm (UTC)2. UFH. Er, the Weird Al movie.
3. Kiwi?
4. World famous hot dogs... have you ever heard of this place?
5. Golly. I think it was at '00, one of those times hanging around - ah, that's it! '00, at the reg table, seeing you in line. I'm not sure what made you stick out, but something did. If nothing else, it was the fact that I kept on seeing you around the con. The first real encounter, though, was of course eating by candlelight at Greg's table. ::grins:: Wasn't everyone strangely cranky? ;)
6. AnotherstrangeoneIhopeyoudon'tgetoffendedat. A red squirrel - always exploring, looking into new things, finding a new treasure or interest that keeps you fascinated. The ability to leap from situation to situation and land on your feet and keep going. Also, the distinctive "don't mess with me" chitter.
7. I may've asked this one, but owell. What about gargs grabbed you and/or pulled you in?

Date: 2005-09-23 02:47 pm (UTC)2. Video? I think I actually might own that cd.
3. Not blue jello? (gets a trembly lower lip)
4. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
5. As I recall, it was a really nice email you dropped me with feedback about "Here There Be Monsters"(which I STILL don't get why you lot liked so much).
6. (snerks)Here a Ryuu! There a Ryuu! And another little Ryuu! Funny Ryuu! Fuzzy Ryuu! Ryuu, Ryuu, THOR!
7. The Shire. Totally, totally The Shire. Hobbits rock.

Date: 2005-09-23 02:56 pm (UTC)3. Oooo. I didn't think of that. Sure! (but can they be cut out into strange shapes? OOOO! Jello Thor! Annna Jello Stargate, and some of the symbols, and - ya know, this really IS starting to sound like a fun little project. Jellogate: SG1)
4. ::smirks::
5. Ah! That's it! ::poings:: I remember now!
And 'cause it's good fic. Not to mention Wyvern is a hoot.
6. ROTFL!!!!!! ::glomp!::
7. Cool.

Date: 2005-09-23 07:05 pm (UTC)2. Now I have this odd urge to watch the movie (as soon as I remember where the DVD is).
3. Uh... I guess that works (considering I'm not a fan of jello, but oh well).
4. Eh... I don't think I have. O_o
5. *L* Yeah, everybody else was cranky, but hey, it's not often one gets to eat at the same table with the creator of Gargoyles... lights or candles. ;)
6. Hmm, never thought of myself as a squirrel... (so no offense taken)
7. I don't think you've asked me, I know a few others have. I read a blurb in TV Guide just before it went on the air. Saw the first episode, realized that it looked like something nifty... and was hooked.

Date: 2005-09-23 07:12 pm (UTC)3. Jellogate. I love it. (giggling)And yes, if someone can come up with knitting patterns for all thirty-nine chevrons on Earth's stargate, I'm sure we can put them together in jello form.
4. I still do have that bit you wrote for it with the gals talking about the concept.
5. But...Mari is a blatant and painful Mary Sue!
6. Everybody loves the Llama Song!
7. Well, they DO!

Date: 2005-09-24 06:57 pm (UTC)There is no Deus Ex 2. There is something that claims to be similar, but I swear it is only known as Invisible War.
::hackspit:: I have a love-hate relationship with that... thing. Every time it hits a point where I think I utterly loathe it, it goes and does something profound and fascinating. Mostly, it left me feeling rather cheated, and I hate all of the possible endings.

Date: 2005-09-25 02:25 pm (UTC)3. LOL I love obsessed fans. They can be so much fun.
5. And Jay isn't? You write Mari well. Yeah, she's got sue-ish traits, but that doesn't make for bad fic.
6. Except my coworkers. Which is probably why I have so much of it memorized. >: D

Date: 2005-09-25 02:29 pm (UTC)3. I'm not a major fan of jello either, but... um... basically, I forgot to take the question out.
4. ::grins:: From '01? The world famous hot dog place?
7. Awesome!

Date: 2005-09-25 04:11 pm (UTC)3. Ah... well, now you know for next time. ;p
4. I'm still drawing a blank. Maybe I should go back and read my '01 report.
7. Yep.

Date: 2005-09-27 05:26 pm (UTC)2. Um. The Rainbow Connection, by Kermit the Frog.
3. Chocolate. Or chocolate pudding, if no such thing exists.
4. Why did we even bother with the movie? };-)
5. Well, I know I noticed you in the C.S. Lewis class, but the first real clear, specific memory was from those *ahem* skits we all had to do. I think it was a combination of you being like, the only one to bother with a brit accent (which caught my attention), combined with the fact that you had to take off your hat (I recall thinking you looked cuter that way, and should try not wearing it more often).
6. See, literally the first thing that jumped into my head was a lion - a mental image that ranges from impressive warrior to content poet. The more thoughtful answer comes from too much Brian Jacques: a badger. Warrior, passionate and driven, nurturing. Take your pick of critter.
7. Why Star Wars?
no subject
Date: 2005-09-27 05:57 pm (UTC)6. Warrior? Now that's something I've never thought myself as
5. Of course I would use an accent, have you ever known me NOT to go all out? :-P
4. Hush! :-)
3. Chocolate is good.
2. *raises eyebrow*
1. As in radio, or comic?
