We ended up being up... ungodly late, or ridiculously early, depending on your frame of reference. Some of that was related to wandering through the wilds of youtube, which is much like wandering the wilds of Wikipedia, but less... substantive.
We started with a tuba player Winning
This led to a sousaphone player warning the cameraman to back the hell off... even while going on with the show.
(nice alternative views here)
This SOMEHOW led us to discovering Ok Go.
This Too Shall Pass
The Rube Goldberg version
An earlier work, Here It Goes Again
and finally their latest Needing/Getting.
....who the HELL are these lunatics, and what are they on?! I mean, all of this stuff is technically astounding in the first place, mind-boggling AMAZING when you look and see that they're done in one long shot (or several VERRRRRY nicely spliced shots), but... Sweet little green apples, how have I never heard of these madmen? Been a fan of The Cog ever since it came out, but this is so far beyond that, I don't even know how to sputter about it.
