The internet is strange

norcumiI finally caved and got myself a deviant art account so as to not have a million dev bookmarks*. Now, this is meant as the major, if not sole purpose of having an account**. And I'm loving that now when I explore if I see something shiny I just tap the new "FAV!" button and I can find it again easily.
But I'm encountering something strange.
Today, I found out about Rule 63. I can only guess it's from the same list as Rule 34, but I (thankfully?) am not familiar with said list. So for others who aren't in the know, this is a rule concerning gender bending, and I found some gorgeous art regarding Harriet Potter.
'Course, now I'm feeling the weak google-fu. What I'm finding... disturbs the hell out of me in a few instances***, but overall very little in the ways of genderbent gargoyles. Now, this is most likely due to the fandom being Old(...er)/small. Or maybe something about the voice acting being so strong a part of the characters' identity blah blah theorizing (it's also approaching 3 am here, so I try to keep this coherent). I vaguely recall there was at least 1 MGC entry that involved this, but....
Am I just missing something?
Also, why am I so obsessed all of a sudden? I'm guessing the 3 am and perpetual difficulty visualizing something, and then when I start getting visual ideas I want to record them, only my artistic endeavors.... suck. A lot. So I want to see SOME representation of what's banging around my brain. So... if anyone knows where I might find some Interesting Arts, please, comment!

**... unless, perhaps, I can persuade Quindar to use his camera and awesome photoshop skillz to make my metalwork look pretty.... o_O
